Privacy Policy — Alraed School Apps

This policy applies to all mobile apps built on the “Alraed School System” by Alraed Software Solutions, whether published under the Alraed name or under the name of the school, institute or course provider that uses the system (the “educational institution”). These apps show students, parents and teachers their lectures, posts, schedules, grades, attendance, payments and messages. The app connects only to the system server used by the educational institution.

Data we collect

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and we do not sell any data.

Data the app processes

• Login credentials (username and password): sent only to the system server for authentication. The session token is stored in the device’s secure storage.
• Academic data (lectures, homework, grades, attendance, payments, messages): shown from the system server and managed by the educational institution.
• Device information (device model, OS and an app identifier): sent to the server to register the device and manage which devices may sign in.
• Lecture viewing records: watch time is sent to the server to track student progress.
• Files the user chooses to attach (such as homework answers): uploaded only to the system server.
• Settings (server address and school code): stored on the device only.

Academic data belongs to the educational institution and is managed by it.

Device permissions

• Internet: to connect to the system server.
• Notifications: to show alerts for new posts and messages.
• Screenshot blocking during private lectures: to protect course content.

Third parties

We do not share data with any third party. Some lectures play through the embedded YouTube player, which is subject to Google’s privacy policy. The app may use Google Firebase to deliver notifications and may download fonts from Google Fonts; no personal data is sent.

Children

Students under 18 may use the app with accounts created by their educational institution and with their parents’ knowledge. We do not use children’s data for any purpose other than providing the educational service, and we show no ads.

Data deletion

Deleting the app removes all data stored on the device. To delete your account and its data from the server, contact your educational institution or email us below.
